How much does standard token-account cleanup cost?

For each successfully closed standard SPL or Token-2022 account, including burn-and-close flows, the fee is the greater of 2% of recovered lamports, rounded down, and recovered lamports above 2,000,000. A typical 2,039,280-lamport account has a 40,785-lamport fee. Metaplex NFT BurnV1 keeps separate fixed pricing.

Are NFT burn fees percentage-based?

No. Supported NFT BurnV1 fees are fixed by type. Standard NFTs use a fixed 500,000 lamport fee and pNFTs use a fixed 1,950,000 lamport fee.

When are fees disclosed?

Unclaimed SOL shows gross reclaim, service fee, user receives, and the applicable fee rule before the user signs.

Token-account pricing is calculated independently after each successful classic SPL or Token-2022 close, including burn-and-close flows. The service fee is the greater of 2% of the recovered lamports (basis-point division rounded down) and recovered lamports above 2,000,000. Metaplex NFT BurnV1 keeps separate fixed pricing.

Jupiter token swaps use a 1.5% referral fee. Dashboard swaps and the claim-flow SWAP tab show the quoted amount and fee before you sign.

NFT burns use fixed per-type fees only after the full Metaplex rent stack can be reclaimed. Edition, pNFT edition, and MPL Core rows are benchmarks or future rules until support is enabled in the app.

Typical Token-Cleanup Example

For a standard account with 2,039,280 recovered lamports, the 2% component is 40,785 lamports after rounding down and the legacy excess component is 39,280 lamports. The service fee is therefore 40,785 lamports and the user receives 1,998,495 lamports before normal network fees.
